The Keep

This castle is know as the "Chris Castle", because the 3 builders were all 3 of NALUG's Chris's. The dungeon level and outer walls are old light grey, and the rest of the keep itself is old dark grey. We tried to keep the construction fairly realistic. The main floor is stone, but all others are wood, with wooden beams supporting them, on top of stone pillars. Storage is up under the rafters. The dungeon level is split between a number of cells and a large open area dedicated to worshipping the snake god. A passage not visible in the pictures opens to a tunnel leading out to a cave.

Construction was quite rushed on this project, with not much more than a week to do the keep, the outer walls, gate-house, drawbridge, moat, scenery, etc. I think we did pretty good, however, and we certainly had good fun.
