NALUG wins First Place at GETS 2002
Summary
On September 28 and 29, 2002, NALUG set up its fourth LEGO
train layout at the
Great Edmonton Model Train Show. Lego bricks from the personal collections
of NALUG and SALUG members were used in a 25'x15' layout. NALUG also organized a children's
play area, which was located near the NALUG layout and contained
LEGO bricks and track donated by The LEGO Company.
NALUG members cheerfully accepted the award for
first place
during the Saturday evening social at Fort Edmonton Park.
